Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional to drive business development and student engagement initiatives. The role involves counseling prospective students, managing admissions, and contributing to revenue growth through effective lead conversion strategies. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a consultative approach, and a clear understanding of current industry trends to guide candidates toward the right career paths.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate (preferably in IT or related discipline)
  • 2+ years of experience in Academic Counselling, EdTech Sales, Business Development, or similar roles
  • Fluency in Malayalam and English (mandatory)
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Excellent follow-up and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems
  • Target-driven mindset with a passion for achieving results

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions (telephonic and face-to-face) to understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs
  • Drive end-to-end admission processes, from lead generation to enrollment closure
  • Follow up consistently with leads generated through marketing campaigns and other channels
  • Maintain and update CRM systems to track student interactions and conversion status
  • Provide accurate insights on industry trends, & job opportunities
  • Handle objections effectively and guide students/parents with clarity and confidence
  • Ensure a high lead-to-conversion ratio and achieve assigned targets
  • Coordinate with internal teams for seamless onboarding and student experience
  • Build long-term relationships with students to enhance satisfaction and referrals
  • Develop and maintain corporate relationships to generate placement opportunities and support student career advancement.
